Valley Farm’s Shatter
Wonka’s Bubblicious Strain Description
Wonka’s Bubblicious is a sativa dominant hybrid (70% sativa/30% indica) strain created through a cross of the insanely delicious Pandora’s Box X Querkle strains.
Like its name suggests, this bud has a hugely tasty flavour of sweet and creamy fruity bubblegum, just like the gum of our childhoods. The smell is of sweet fruity berry with a delicious bubblegum smell that’s released as the nugs are broken apart and smoked. The Wonka’s Bubblicious high is one of a happy uplifted mood with substantial lung expansion. The high starts with a euphoric cerebral head rush that hits your head with a wave of expansive energy and crystal-clear focus. This effect is eventually accompanied by a slowly building relaxing body buzz that doesn’t limit your functionality but rather leaves you completely calm and at ease.
This bud is a favorite wake-and-bake strain for those who want a boost of energy but don’t want the negative effects that sometimes come with a potent sativa strain. Because of these effects and its high THC level of 20% on average, Wonka’s Bubblicious is a perfect bud for treating chronic stress or anxiety, mild to moderate cases of depression, ADD or ADHD, and asthma.
Wonka’s Bubblicious buds have medium-sized dense spade-shaped dark olive green nugs with rich purple leaves, undertones, and hairs. Each nug is coated with a super sticky layer of sweet syrupy resin and sparse crystal clear trichomes.
What is Shatter?
Shatter is an extract, which is a type of cannabis concentrate that’s produced using a combination of weed plant materials and solvents. The appearance of thc shatter is typically translucent, though its colouring can range from a bright honey like amber to a darker yellow shade like olive oil.
Visually, all shatters may appear to have the same consistency, but the physical texture of individual products can vary from extremely brittle to a taffy like snap-and-pull quality. This inconsistency gives some insight into an individual product’s cannabinoid profile.
Specifically, shatter that’s higher in tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) will tend to be sappier than a product with a higher level of tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA), which will be much more brittle by comparison. At room temperature, THC is a sappy oil, giving shatter with a high THC content a more viscous consistency, whereas THCA is solid at room temperature, yielding a fragile concentrate that’s easier to break apart.
